Back on deck

I'm back in Brisbane and feeling more than a little jetlagged. Still I know enough to try to get myself into the timezone as soon as I can, so no nap for me. Instead, a question: what is it about airports that make people lose all sense of intelligence and courtesy. Now I was a little vague myself after a long haul from LA, but it annoyed me that so many people before me in queues couldn't seem to read signs, follow directions or have the slightest bit of consideration for other people. Maybe that's just the way of the world.
