Small victory

It seems I'm not the only one tired of the rudeness on the roads of Shanghai. When I was crossing the road last night and a taxi started driving towards me, I stopped still, faced the driver, pointed to the green man that allowed me to cross, and then to the red light that indicated he should have stopped while saying something in English that I'm sure he didn't understand. The locals crossing with me were bemused by my boldness but clearly approved of what I was doing.
