Just my luck

I picked a bad day to fly into Sydney. Thanks to the engineers' strike, I'm still sitting in the departure lounge rather than arriving in Brisbane. This follows a nightmare getting through the international airport, thanks to very slow Customs and quarantine procedures. I'm sure there was a reason for this, but it's unfortunate that that process couldn't have been more efficient on a day when passengers were bound to face further delays.
