Congratulations to Lyndon Terracini, the boss of Major Brisbane Festivals who has just been named artistic director of the Australian Opera. I guess there will now be a scramble for his job running the Brisbane Festival.
It should be Brett Debritz.
No, seriously, it should go to Bruce Paige.

And it would give the new Brisbane Festival brand reconigtion. Besides, the only thing confirmed about Riverfire 2009 is that Triple M's simulcasting, with a unknown broadcaster.
