Where's the wally?

A former colleague pointed out this story in which the Sydney-based Sunday Telegraph redraws the map of Queensland:

FYI: Caloundra is in the south-east of this great big state, just 78km north of Brisbane. In fact, Caloundra is closer to Melbourne than it is to Cooktown in far north Queensland, so a more accurate wrong-headed description would be "in southern Australia".

Relocation

Not so sure crazy southerners are to blame. Copy was from AAP.

OK, so we'll blame crazy subeditors everywhere. But if the copy - and the error - originated in Queensland, that's pretty bad.
