Shakespeare gets another shake

The Shakespeare authorship debate has resurfaced again, with prominent actors including Derek Jacobi raising doubts as to whether William Shakespeare really wrote the plays and sonnets attributed to him. Jacobi says he subscribes to the group authorship theory, with nobleman Edward de Vere the leading light on the grounds that he would know things that would have been unknown to the Stratford-born Shakespeare, who never travelled abroad. About two years ago, all the buzz was about Sir Henry Neville.
