Shooting the messenger

In its advertisements protesting against the Queensland Government's takeover of water infrastructure, the Council of Mayors is urging people to ring Anna Bligh's office and complain. Assuming the Premier doesn't answer her own phone, isn't that just setting up some poor lowly paid receptionist for a few days of telephonic abuse? Campbell Newman and his fellow mayors should have thought that one through a little more.
