Long and short of it

Do Australian political reporters have short attention spans? Some of them are complaining that new prime minister Kevin Rudd spoke for 30 minutes when he unveiled his cabinet yesterday. They should be glad they don't live in Cuba, where now-ailing president Fidel Castro often gave speeches that lasted two or three hours.
